Jaclyn & Tyler – Okanagan Intimate Wedding

Jaclyn & Tyler reached out to me just days before their intimate backyard wedding took place and I am so happy they did. What a beautiful celebration of love to be a part of. When their original wedding plans could no longer take place due to Covid-19, that did not stop this couple from celebrating their love story with their closest family and friends.

A family backyard was turned into a beautiful socially distant ceremony space, with all of the little details in place. Kris Fuller from Your Life Sparkles held one of the most genuine wedding ceremonies I’ve ever seen filled with tears and laughter. Their dog Harley made sure to be involved in the ceremony and family photos wherever possible as loved ones watched from a distance. The couple was surprised with a congratulatory drive by from emergency workers (even though at first the sirens made them think they were in trouble) and we headed to O’Keefe Ranch, their original wedding venue, for an intimate wedding photo and video session.

I think one of my favourite things about these intimate weddings is how stress free they are. I have been having so much fun being a part of these intimate Okanagan weddings and despite everything, I am really looking forward to what this year’s wedding season has in store. These stripped down wedding ceremonies truly show what a wedding is all about, and that is love.

Covid-19 has affected all of us, but one thing that covid cannot stop is love. We keep seeing on social media that love is not cancelled – this is so true! What matters most on a wedding day is your love for one another, and that cannot be stopped by a virus. If your wedding has been affected by Covid-19 and you are considering changing your plans to an elopement or a more intimate wedding, have you considered hiring a wedding videographer? Elopement videography is such a great way to share your intimate wedding with family and friends who can no longer attend your wedding celebration. Love is so powerful. Love can conquer all.

“A few days before our wedding (and I mean literally the Wednesday before our Saturday wedding), I came across Deanna with Uncorked Films. I knew it was a long shot because it was only days before our wedding but I thought I would reach out to her to see if she was available that Saturday, and thank goodness she was. Deanna quickly jumped on board came out to film our wedding, and then to O’Keefe Ranch to get our pictures done and she delivered us the most amazing film I could have ever imagined. We are so blown away, that with just 2 hours of coverage we have an absolutely beautiful film to share with all of our family and friends who were no longer able to share our day with us and to keep forever. If anyone is looking for a videographer, I HIGHLY recommend you check our Uncorked films, you will absolutely not be disappointed!” – Jaclyn
